Joyce visits the Cletwr Big Build project, ahead of summer opening

As part of a series of visit to projects in the Machynlleth area, Assembly Member Joyce Watson recently stopped by the under-construction Cletwr in Tre’r Ddôl.
Due to open this summer, the modern, sustainable building will be the new home of Siop Cynfelyn and Caffi Cletwr, as well as a community meeting and office space.
The Labour Mid and West Wales AM said:
“As a regular customer, I’m delighted to see the latest progress – it’s an exciting and ambitious project.
“Cletwr, deservedly, has attracted financial support from Welsh Government (£172,000), the Big Lottery Fund (£497,000) and the European Union (£88,000), a big vote of confidence in all the staff and volunteers who have made this community enterprise a big success.”
