Joyce warns local people to check who they give their waste to, or risk facing fly-tipping fines

Fly-tipping fixed penalty changes approved

Joyce Watson AM wants local residents to know that if they give their waste to unauthorised people to dispose of and then the waste is fly-tipped, the resident could face a fixed penalty notice of £300.

New rules were agreed by Assembly Members to help councils take further action against fly-tipping, discouraging householders from handing their waste to people not authorised to handle it.Read more
