Investment for county rail station (Tivyside Advertiser)

Mid and West Wales AMs Rebecca Evans and Joyce Watson have welcomed the investment in Aberystwyth Station announced by the Welsh Government today.
The investment announced by Transport Minister Carl Sargeant will improve facilities, increase safety and creating jobs through a new retail unit at the station. The investment has been funded through EU funding for transport and regeneration.
Access to the station will be dramatically improved, with a new forecourt being built, an improved taxi rank system and a new accessibility ramp for disabled people.
Facilities will be upgraded with new electronic ticket machines and improved customer service information through new automated screens and passenger safety will be improved with a new CCTV system being introduced and better lighting at the station.
