Funding for former Penparcau boxing club is a knock out for local residents

£490,000 WELSH GOVERNMENT FUNDING FOR FORMER BOXING CLUB IN PENPARCAU IS A KNOCK OUT FOR LOCAL RESIDENTS
Local AM Joyce Watson welcomed the news that Penparcau Community Forum will benefit from £490,000 of Welsh Government funding to extend the former boxing club into a flexible community space, to host community activities.
Mrs Watson (Labour, Mid and West Wales) said:
“This new hub is welcome news in an area with a strong sense of community.
“This is another example of how the Welsh Labour Government’s Community Facilities Programme gives capital grant funding, to help tackle poverty by creating and improving buildings and facilities for the use of the local community.”
