Animal Welfare Plan for Wales

The Welsh Labour Government has published its ‘Animal Welfare Plan for Wales’. It’s a five-year plan which outlines steps towards achieving the ambition on ensuring a good quality of life for all animals in Wales.
And it builds on what has already been achieved by the Welsh Government since it gained powers to legislate on animal welfare in 2006.

The plan outlines how we will take forward our election pledges in this area and put in place other measures to further improve animal welfare.
