AM pops in for tea to support battle against cancer

Joyce Watson AM has thanked the organisers of the Macmillan Coffee Morning in Llanfair on Friday, September 24th.
Joyce Watson, AM for Mid and West Wales, popped in for tea at the Macmillan Coffee Morning in Llanfair to show her support for the event. Over £200 was raised at the event which will go towards helping people with cancer.
Joyce Watson said, ‘I would like to thank the organisers of the coffee morning for the time and effort they put in to make it a success. I had a wonderful time meeting local residents and talking about what’s important to them.
‘All the money raised will go to a fantastic cause. Cancer affects so many people both directly and indirectly and any funds raised to support those living with this devastating illness.’
