Joyce praises Pembrokeshire school’s staff

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Local Assembly member Joyce Watson dropped by Mary Immaculate primary school, Haverfordwest, on Friday (25 November) to pay tribute to support staff.
Stars in Our Schools is a nation-wide day of celebration, organised by UNISON, the trade union, to recognise the wonderful work support staff – teaching assistants, mentors, librarians, technicians and alike – do every day.
Mrs Watson said:
“I’m delighted to support Unison’s campaign, to thank staff for all their hard work. My mother was a school caretaker for 17 years. She loved her job and always went the extra mile to support the children, as so many support staff do.”
Schools across the UK marked the day, holding awards ceremonies, putting on special assemblies and even dressing up as super heroes!
