Joyce welcomes £3m boost for Glangwili

Assembly Member Joyce Watson today accompanied health minister Mark Drakeford on a visit to Glangwili Hospital. Commenting on the announcement that Welsh Government has set aside £3m for improvements to maternity services at the Carmarthen hospital, the Labour Mid and West AM said:
“This excellent news. Last year’s report by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health concluded that the reorganisation of health services in west Wales has delivered a better service for mothers and babies. With this extra investment, the health board can continue to deliver that improvement, now and for the future.
